LOLT stays involved within the conservation community and actively participates in ongoing partnership projects.

Doris Duke PartnershipThe Lowcountry Open Land Trust is committed to a collaborative approach to conservation. Our mission is to promote a meaningful balance between the predominance of nature and human influences on the landscape and, in the face of rapid urban expansion along the coast, we recognize the strength of partnerships. The Lowcountry is fortunate to have many fine private and public organizations working to protect its natural character and resources, and LOLT has had the opportunity to work with most of them. Our primary, ongoing partnership effort is membership in the five coastal Focus Area Task Forces .
