Partnership Projects

by chris — last modified 10:51 AM, 20 May 2010

LOLT stays involved within the conservation community and actively participates in ongoing partnership projects.

The Lowcountry Open Land Trust is committed to a collaborative approach to conservation. One of the goals of our land protection program is to strike a balance between resource protection and human (landowner) needs.  Working with partners who have a similar mission and goals, yet have diverse approaches and tools, makes our effort more effective. The Lowcountry is fortunate to have many fine private and public organizations working to protect its natural character and resources, and LOLT has had the opportunity to work with many of them. Our primary, ongoing partnership effort is membership in the five coastal Focus Area Task Forces.
