Ralph Costa, a RCW recovery coordinator with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, monitors an RCW nesting cavity. Costa was instrumental in enrolling Brosnan Forest in the RCW Safe Harbor program in 1999. Costa and five graduate students have been conducting RCW research at Brosnan Forest since 1998.
