CEO/Executive Director, Lowcountry Open Land Trust Deadline: February 15, 2010 (Past)

The Lowcountry Open Land Trust, with offices in Charleston, South Carolina, seeks a talented and experienced CEO/Executive Director to lead our established land trust.  Join this 25 year old conservation organization if you are a leader with proven fundraising, marketing, financial and management skills!  Work with an active Board of Directors in the South Carolina lowcountry’s dynamic conservation community—a passion for conservation is a must!  The LOLT currently has a talented staff of 6 employees with an annual budget in excess of $550,000 per year.  At the end of 2009, the LOLT has in place 247 conservation easements protecting 81,188 acres of land in Coastal South Carolina.  The CEO/ED will direct land conservation activities, cultivate major donor relationships, develop our membership, and lead the staff.  Increasing our endowment in these challenging economic times is an important part of this job.  An ability to build collaborative relationships as well as strong verbal and written communication skills are critical.  This high profile job requires travel throughout the lowcountry and occasionally beyond.

How to Apply:
