There are several benefits associated with becoming a member of the Lowcountry Open Land Trust.

• The first and most important benefit is knowing that your contribution will help preserve a very special part of the Lowcountry.

• Contributions to the Land Trust are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.

• Members will receive Land Legacy newsletters throughout the year updating them on the progress that the Land Trust has made.

• Members will also receive annual reports, which describe the Land Trust’s yearly accomplishments in detail.

• Members will receive invitations to our annual events such as the Membership Picnic held in the Spring of each year, and the Annual Meeting held in February of each year.  Members are also invited to special events like nature walks and canoe trips during the year.

• 8% of all membership dollars go into our Stewardship Fund, which is used to monitor our protected properties and ensure that our conservation easements are upheld forever.
